Installation and Labour hire

The GrindFx labour force is experienced in working not only in the events and entertainment industry but also provides labour services for many random tasks. No job is too small or too large. We can have emergency staff at your disposal within days or, in some cases, even hours of your event.

Our staff are fully briefed, trained and experienced in industry standards and procedures. Every member of our team is insured and OH&S certified. All staff arrive uniformed in pressed black button-up shirts with our embossed logo. We have a strict dress code including hard capped boots and any other necessary safety gear for each individual job. You can be sure our staff will arrive looking their very best.

GrindFx staff work regularly in venues such as the National Convention Centre, Parliament House, Exhibition Park in Canberra (EPIC), Canberra Theatre, The National Museum of Australia, The Australian Institute of Sport, Westfield Shopping Centres and many other conference centres and hotels, giving staff an extensive knowledge of venue rules, restrictions, protocols and building layouts.

Our crew is proficient in the installation of audio visual, staging, lighting and theming. This includes the installation of display shell scheme stands such as Octonorm, Maxima, Corrinthian as well as Megadeck and Tri-Truss systems. We can provide tools and equipment including EWP (elevated working platform), forklifts, trucks, power tools, ladders, hand tools and consumables upon request and can always provide any unforeseen extras.
